The Nohèdes gîte d'étape is part of a traditional mountain village house. The house faces directly south with an uninterrupted view across the valley to Mont Coronat. The gîte is comprehensively equipped as follows :
- A fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, refrigerator.
- A dining room.
- A dormitory sleeping eight.
- Bathroom facilities.
- Electric heating.

Your host, Alain Mangeot, has been living in Nohèdes for the past 24 years. Himself an experienced walker, he will advise you about local conditions and the many routes available from the doorstep. Walks can be tailored to your interests, experience and, of course, your level of fitness. As Curator of the Nohèdes Nature Reserve Alain Mangeot will be happy to talk to you about his life and work and the incredible variety and richness of the local flora and fauna. In this respect the Nohèdes valley is a veritable Noah's Ark. A keen
